In my personal opinion having owned one, id recommend as an all rounder, unless you are buying purely for performance, the 20v non turbo. , I have run this engine type in 2 other cars, Marea 20v and Bravo 20v HGT all running the same mechanicals as the coupe. never had any issues other than a clutch. They are still fast and sound beautiful.
But even a three-figure budget buys a later 220bhp turbocharged five-cylinder 20-valve model. This will easily match a modern hot hatch for pace, while the handling is surprisingly agile. Fiats of
Location. London. May 27, 2007. #1. Hi people, need some info. Just bought a fiat coupe 20v Turbo as my Bravo HGT died but with Honour. Is it me or is the turbo ment to cut in at about 2500 revs. Also seems like the turbo takes ages to cut in when in higher gears like 4th and 5th. any info would be appreciated.
Jun 3, 2019. #6. sorry 130- I could have told you that if I'd seen your thread a week ago; only two things will cause the engine not to fire; The fuel pump (or inertia switch) or the cam sensor. Incidentally; the low oil-pressure light permanently lit; is indicative of diode-pack failure on the rear of the alternator.
